Car wont start....

Post by SpeedDreamz.com »

Just got thru with a k20a2 swap into an EG. Car is for race only. Plugged in the engine harness then plug a/b into ecu. I got an eplug locally and followed the wiring diagram on the Kpro page for a race car. Have verified that all wiring is correct. Engine turns over but thats it. Pulled plug #1 to check for spark and that is OK. Got plenty of fuel and injectors are pulsing. Removed the valve cover to verify cam/crank timing and that is OK. Marks line up at TDC. The engine is a brand new build so everything is fresh. I will do a compression check tomorrow but feel that will be OK too. I also loaded the K20 with crower cams calibration and rescaled for 550cc injectors.

Any ideas? Any extra wiring needed not mentioned in the diagram? Any needed grounds?

If you have no grounds that is the problem.

Of course I followed the hondata instructions exactly. I also added engine to chassis grounds at each end of the motor. I also chassis ground the ecu case. Ihave since found the issue, no compression. I believe it to be a cam timing issue, am checking today to see.
