Prelude Type-Sh

Post by H22AB18C5 »

hey all,

i have an 01 Prelude Type-SH. i know the hondata ECu programs will dissable my ATTS diff, but what bennefits will it give me?

any of you guys know what type of increase in power i will see? also, when will my VTEC kick in and what will my new rev limit be? right now the only mod i have on both my Prelude & Integra are AEM CAI's. i dont want to modify the ITR beyond that, but would like to get more power out of the Prelude-i was think9ing about getting a Header & exhaust done, as well as a Hondata reflash. is it worth losing my ATTS?

my friend recommended Hondata, as its done wonders for his 02 RSX TYpe-S in terms of power. he has a Hondata "stage 4" reflash for the RSX & valve springs to handle the extra RPM as well as a few bolt-ons.

what can i expect in terms of WHP & BHP with a Hondata reflash on my lude?

thanx in advance.

There is no reflash for the PRelude. You will have to use a compatible OBD1 ECU from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html and then you can use the s100, s200 or s300. I cannot give power number or increases, as they are all fully tunable systems that allow you to tune the engine to it's maximum potential.
