P28 ECU question help!

Post by snatchback »

I have a b18c1 in my 92 hatch and i just got a p28 for it today but its throwing the check engien code 19 which has something to do with an automatic transmision. So my question is why would it throw that code, did i get the wrong ecu, is there a diference between and automatic p28 and a manual? ALso it redlines at like 7600 and i thought t would redline higher. So im thinking i have an automatic p28 does anyone know anything about that cause i couldn't find any info on the net. Please help!

You can convert the ecu from AT to MT
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you have a resistor in RP17 and RP18 is AT to convert remove RP17 and place a jumper on RP18.
