I live in edmonton, alberta, canada. I have an s200 serial no:0656. I pulled the car in my garage after work, let it idle before shutting it off, and heard a click (same as when you turn the key to accessory). The cars idle stuttered, then a CEL came up. I turned the car off, back on, and saw the led on my s200 flashing. I swapped it out with a friends s200 and it works fine.

So the diagnosis is a problem with my s200. It is not mounted to a hard surface where it would get alot of vibration, nor was I changing anything when the problem occurred. The problem was instant and now I need to use my friends s200 to run my car.

I need to send it in but would like more info including whether or not it will be repaired for no fee. I had sporadic tuning issues where I would hit what felt like ignition cut at high rpm's. I replaced my coil, wires, etc and it did not go away. It was still sporadic and now I am concerned that this problem was also in the s200 as it went away with the replacement s200 unit.

Please let me know my course of action and a full shipping address, etc and I will ship it priority asap. What would be the turnaround time in this case?

Did you swap the whole ECU or just the blue box?

Shipping address is on the bottom of our main page. Call us and arrange to send it in.

I was going to swap the ecu just in case, but it was not required. I swapped just the blue box and I have my friends ecu as a spare for now. I ran the car, it is fine. I then swapped back to my blue box today, and the problem is definately the box.
