Hondata Please Check Datalog

Can you please check this datalog and provide some advise on what I need to do in order to keep A/F from going down into the low 11's. I live in Guam and don't have a tuner nearby so any help will be greatly apprecitated. I am worried about possibly blowing up the motor. Please let me know what areas I need to increase the fuel in order to bring the A/F ratio up. It looks like it needs to be increased somewhere in the ranges of 3000 and up rpm's. This would only be under boost. But I don't know how much to increase and where. Thanks

you seem to be running a tad lean at around 6000rpms at 7psi...you have an a/f of 13.1. That's not good for the motor imo. What I need you to do, is do a datalog that isn't too long though. Do it in either 3rd or 4th (one of the two, not both) from about 2000 rpm and gun it till you hit the rev limiter or up to 8000rpms. This way we can tune for you under boost.

your datalog is wayyyy to long imo. It's like 5 hours long.

Are you using my cal or the cn 650cc one that hondata has on kmanager?

I bet that datalog you were using the cal from kmanager...looks like at vtec cross over you lean out for 200rpm then go back to rich. We noticed this on the dyno when I got my car tuned. The cal I have fixed that. If so, then use the one I gave you. Should richen it up a bit. Just remember though, a lot of ignition was pulled by that tune that Stoney did. It's much safer, but may not feel as strong since you don't have the intake manifold that I have when I was tuned. So you will run even more rich most likely.

also I noticed you got about 5 knocks. Not too much, not even that big of a deal imo. that sensor is sensitive. IMO don't get on it too much till you get it tuned. How long till you get to the states?

Basically, I noticed that the a/f sensor can have some inconsistant readings sometimes. Once it would rean 14's under boost...do another datalog...it would read 11's a split second later under the same conditions.

The whole datalog and tune yourself thing I think is just something to help you out till you get to a tuner. Also enabling lean protection helps you out till you get it tuned. Once tuned, I don't even worry about lean protection anymore.

Stoney did a good job on my tune, practically a 12 flat on the a/f :)

At the time that I did that datalog I was using the flash from hondata. I have since installed your flash and I will get another datalog for you to look at. I won't be coming back from overseas until Nov06. Then my 3 yrs are up here. I can't wait to leave this hole. Thanks for the flash.

Its funny that you say it was 6 hrs long. It actually was somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 minutes and then the thing cut off. I don't know why it does that. I will get a new datalog in 3rd gear and see how it looks. I am still playing with the idle because sometimes when you push the clutch in while coming to a stop the motor will die. Other than that I am happy. Yesterday I took it out playing and I tried a dead stop dump the clutch thing and it just sat there. The rev limiter was set to 5500 and I tried starting out in 2nd gear. It didnt move and I didnt hear the tires screaming so it sort of scared me. I have a stage 2 clutch in the car so I thought it should grab and go but that wasnt the case. I am going to lower the launch rev limiter and start in 1st and see how it does. Don't want to burn up a new clutch. Maybe it isn't broke in yet. Beats me. Thanks for the help
