Ok so i got my car partially tuned in april. shortly after that i had to pull the head and change the head gasket because my head studs backed out. car was sitting up until last week when i put it back together. i slap the head on on and go to start it and it barely idle's. A/f is around 11:1-12.8:1 at idle. also now it doesnt want to rev past 2k rpms. Prior to me pulling the head it idled around 15:1. could the tune have gotten erased?

Were there any error codes? Since there has been major mechanical work done i would suspect a wiring, sensor or mechanical problem. The chip will not erase itself just sitting.

well only thing that was done was a head removal. intake manifold stayed in the car and connected. just unbolted the intake mani/exhuast mani, and unplugged like 5 connecters. i went over all the wiring and vacuum connections and it all checks out fine. No check engine lights either.
