p30 iab qeustion

Hey

I bought a GSR engine for my EG,i have a Hondata s200

can i use my p30 ecu for the iab? is that controlled by software or by the ecu?

A called a friend of my wich has the s200 installen on his b16 and he say's that he can set the iab on any revs.

is this gonna work with mine p30 ecu?

No, the P30 will not control IABs. Only the P72 can control them. Other ecu's can be modified to run them, but Hondata does not perform these modifications (talk to RMS)

If it is a JDM P30...i'm not sure what can be done.

You can also use the nitrous options to run an IAM, but it will require additional wiring and a relay...this is not something we have any details on.

i talked to a friend of my who is a ecu whizkid en he can midify the p30 ecu to run with iab so problem solved i think...

i have a p72 ecu witch was by the engine but thas a obd2 ecu so i can do nothing with that that's why a want to run with my original p30...
