edelbrock 70mm throttle body tps problem

how do you get an edelbrock tps to work with hondata
I have the edelbrock mustang throttle body 70mm and the supplied tps sensor.
i was thinking since a honda tps shows .5-4.5v and the gm sensor shows 1-5v that i could use a .5v resistor and elongate the bolt holes for the tps to allow adjustment.
please someone help
