How do I "short out the diagnostic connector"? Seeing as how I'm probably going to have to do this does anyone have some pic's or detailed step by step instructions.

It tells you EXACTLY how to check the codes and where to find the connector to do so in the link provided. Do you have a problem with the link or something?

Actually, he does. Do you have a problem reading and comprehending? 90% of the questions asked can be found if people just do a little research. If you cant figure it out, look on the dealer list and find the nearest Hondata dealer to help you out with your problem.

I'm freaking out over this. Sorry for coming off like an ass. It just seems like no one can give me a straight forward answer.

I found the connector and this procedure didn't help one bit. I can plug in my OEM ECU and run the car (like shit) without throwing any codes. Plus, OBD1 ECU's can be reset by removing power for a minute or so. Mine doesn't reset. The check engine light is constant.
