OBD0 to OBD1 issues...
Hey, I just put a JDM B16A that came out of an Integra XSi into my 1993 Civic EX .... Well as you all know... my car is OBD1 and I am unable to use the PW0 and was forced to use the stock P28 Single cam Vtec ecu and my engine came built alot of Type R internals and it is DEF not running how it should be Vtec does not kick in hard at ALL and my friend with a complete stock b16 can pretty much beat me can I please get some advice on what to do I was told by someone to get an OBD1 to OBD0 Conversion Harness he told me to call Hasport and I did they said there is no such thing then someone told me to buy a P30 ECU ahh Im going crazy not having the power my engine should please give me advice on what to do
boomslang makes good adapter harnesses for obd0-1... or we put obd0 plugs into obdI ecus (same idea as hondata's obdI ecus with obdII plugs). the harness is a bit more flexible since any obdi ecu can be installed in minutes, but for cali smog referee our ecu is better. remember you will need an obdI dizzy and 4-wire o2.
