if you plan to go with a full suspension or plan to drag the car use coilovers. but for daily driving and not to much suspension work use springs. just my opinion had both on my civic springs are more forgiving.

I like the coilovers myself. You can get a set of Ground Controls pretty cheap and they use Eibach springs. Gives you adjustability over ride height and handling somewhat. With springs, if you don't like how it sits or rides, you are stuck with it (unless you change springs again). Oh yeah, and dont forget to correct camber if you drop the car any or you will hate any setup. Stemph is a common suspension components manufacturer and makes a set of adjustable offset ball joints and chances are that your local alignment shop can get their components reasonable like. The rear just requires shims that they will have at the alignment shop. Good luck. :)
