k, i have a p28 chipped ecu. its already socketed and with looking over all the installation instructions from hondata it looks like everything has been done for me cept cutting j12 and soldering the 4 pin connector in for datalogging
has anyone else had this happen before??
oh and since my s200 kit came with 2 chips. am i supposed to install one of these or can i just leave my skunk2 chip in since all i want to do at this point is datalogg??

you need to run the hondata chip that is flashed for datalogging. the skunk2 program will not support it. correct me if i am wrong guys. i am no sure about the j12 jumper though, i bought my s200 used and it had everything already installed.

You must follow all the instructions in the installation manual

i did go thru the instructions
and it looks like all i need to do is cut j12 and solder the connection

but i would like a backup response to the skunk2 chip not supporting datalogging?? i thought the 2 chips i got with my kit were blank and need to be burned

You cannot use the Skunk 2 Chip...there is no difference in the smaller chips, they are latches.

You will need to contact your dealer about a basemap. Handata ships the chips blank and it is up to the dealers to put a basemap on them.
