Ignition showing off when attempting to datalog and more

my ignition on kmanager keeps going to off when i try to hit the display sensor button and datalog.

any idea what it could be?

1. Check your engine ground (see the sticky on 'engine ground location').
2. Can you datalog with the engine not running?
3. Can you datalog with the engine running?
