Disable stock O2 sensor?

Post by dragaccord »

Is the stock narrow band O2 sensor needed with s200b or can it be disabled. The car is dyno tuned with a wideband only. No street tuning at all. This might be a noob question, but it's an honest question. I guess i figure since it's a narrow band and the tuner is making all the fuel adjustments. The stock O2 would just do nothing but confuse or get in the way of daily driving. But i could be totally wrong

Please help me out on this. Thanks

Once the tuning is finished, put the stock o2 sensor back in and run the car in closed-loop. This will help with part-throttle, and gas mileage.

when properly tuned, the car should be put in closed loop and it will run better and be more efficient.
