K-pro instalation question

Post by tgrasshopper »

I'm new to k-pro. I drive a civic si 2002.
my question is when i'm gone a receive my ECU back from hondata. I don't have any laptops yet. First a will relocate my ground on the head. after that can I juste load a calibration to they ECU with my home PC and instale they ECU after or I need to have the ECU plugin and key at accesoire.
I know I will need a laptops laite. but righ now I don't have anymore money.

Thanks

The ecu must be plugged into the car and the key in the on position to be able to program the ecu.

I got my ECU back yesterday.:)
I use the loptops of a friend evryting work find easy to instale.
Gain with the civic si high octane it's not so bad. For sure it's to work 1500CA but it's the best start for tuning can't wait geting oter mods.:) I like the rev luncher tha asome. My 1 and 2 gear pull harder and the extra rev is realy cool.
Realy nice toy 8)
