JRSC, Hondata, and lumpy idle

Hello there,

i have a 00 civic si with hondata s200b with rc 440 injectors, ihe.
After the hondata install i have been having this lumpy idle situation where the idle jumps from 1000rpm - 2000rpms.

Its really starting to upset me!

I have had the TPS set at 0.45v. I have also gone back to the tuner and have had the IAC duty cycle adjusted. It seemed to have fixed the problem.

this was last october. Since october the car has been in storage till now. never driven. I have just recently put the car on the road again and the problem has seemed to return.

Can anyone here help me? My tuner requires an appointment months in advance. Could my IAC valve be bad?

I could take a small video clip of the tach showing the lumpy idle surging if it helps at all?

Thanks

Sounds more like a vacuum leak.

Every vacum hose and line has either been replaced or checked for leaks.

Quick test: unplug the idle valve. If the idle doesn't drop to 450-600 rpm, you have a vacuum leak.

i noticed the sticky topic above about thermostats, which got me thinking..... I have a spoon rad cap. I took it off and have noticed for the last 2 days now, that my lumpy idle doesnt happen as often at all. Im actually crossing my fingers to say that it may have stopped for now lol.

Does this sound crazy or is it a possibility??

I unplugged the IACV valve and the idle instantly dropped and idled normal.

does that mean i have a vacuum leak??
