Any problem running Nology Hotwires with the K-Pro?

It is not recommended. There is no reason to not leave the ignition stock

My bro JDM DC5 installed nology hotwires & using Hondata K-Pro.His car runs well so far.Why is not recommended?

There is a long list of people who have had problems when they replaced the spark plugs and/or relocated the ignition coils, which were fixed when they swapped back to stock.

Bluntly, there is no preformance advantage and the exposed leads create a lot of EMI.

Honda spends a lot of time and effort creating a compact, integrated, efficient ignitor, coil and plug wire in a single unit, with as short as possible path from the coil to the plug, shielded from interferring with other electrical systems in the car by a steel tube. Changing all this so now the high voltage travels several feet, radiating interferrence to everything metal in the car as it is not shielded is not good. You also have to cut up the stock ignitor and often people will also replace the stock iridium spark plug.

Therefore, we do not recommend changing the ignition system. In our experience, the less you mess around with what Honda gave you, the better everything works.

Think I'm better off selling my hotwires than taking the chance of putting them on with Kpro? Damn, I shoulda learned about this forum before I took the plunge and bought the wires!

Personally i think hotwires are a waste of money.

I regret dropping coin on my hotwires and beru sparkplugs. I had to buy another set of ignition coils to replace the hacked up ones I ruined to use with the crapwires.

any success stories of anyone using Nology hotwires and Kpro?
