nitrous control option, used for exhaust cutout????

Post by turbocivicex »

I was wondering if you can use the nitrous control option to control an electric exhaust cutout? I have a 96 civic hatch with a turbo GSR swap. I am trying to keep the stock exhaust (sleeper look) and put the electronic cutout on the turbo down pipe. I would like it to open, automatically at WOT, and still be tuned correctly. Can the nitrous control do this?

Yes you should be able to do this if it is wired in the same manor as a nitrous solenoid. You will have to upgrade to an s200 in order to be able to do this.

no need for an s200... s100 has n20 control, too.

the atp system looks nice (best off-the-shelf setup i've seen), but i think an actuator pot controlled by vacuum would work faster to help quicker spooling. obviously would required a source of vacuum like the iabs on a gsr/h22. ever noticed how the by-pass on a jrsc works? same idea. but the atp would be an easy way to go as you can simply buy the parts.
