vtec on s200?

I've got an s200 setup with my h22 and I don't think vtec is engaging. When the eeprom was burned, my tuner set the high cam change at 7000. Is it possible for me to override his setting if I set the rpm change point for the high cam? I've tried doing this and the car acts like it's bouncing off a limitor. When I reset the s200, the car is back to normal, but I'm not feeling vtec. Thanks for any info.

You'll need to go back to your dealer and have them change the rom. That is the only way to change the vtec point when it has been burned into the ecu.

You need to go back to your tuner and ask them wtf they were thinking. On my h22a s100 the change over is at 5400 and at first I thought that was high. Maybe they were tuning low cam first and then gona tune high cam but didn't get to it and forgot to lower the xover.
