Acura TSX Application

I am sure that Hondata has been asked 100 times already but I did not see a diddy on the forms. Is there a balpark release date for the TSX. Like say, September 05. I can post this on the two main TSX boards and maybe trim down the amount of inqueries you get.

This is always a minefield and it seems that there is no correct way to handle this from Hondata. In the past we've been reluctant to give out information about new products as it causes a lot of problems, with people banding together and trying to speed up our development by continually emailing, phone or harassing us, then coming to completely incorrect assumptions about what our product will do, then finally abusing us if we do not make things the way they though we should have. However, we are hoping the TSX crowd is more mature and will not respond in this way.

"We are working on a reflash for the TSX and are making good progress. The initial reflash will be for the manual, and it is likely we will do a reflash for the automatic. Modifications the reflash covers are yet to be finalized. There is no release date yet, but it will happen. We have no power graphs or further information at this point. There currently are no plans to work on a programmable ECU for the TSX. "

I just want to mention I will be happy to put a deposit if you guys are gonna do auto K24 accords also.

Well, this release of information did not work. Please do not call us about the TSX yet When we have more information, it will be posted on the website. When we have a price and release date, it will be posted on the main page. Our staff are getting calls about the TSX which often are rude and abusive. Lesson learnt (again).

Thanks Hondata for supporting the TSX but you guys should really reconsider a programmable ECU for the TSX. The TSX's popularity is growing while the RSX's is decreasing. People are starting realize that (with the NSX aside) -- out of the whole Acura line up, the TSX has the best chassis/suspension setup, and TSX owners are wanting more power from their K24's.

On my behalf of the TSX community, I apologize for the immature behavior some people have displayed regarding the TSX, and appreciate the information, research, and time going into the TSX.
