NOS issue with USKpro on a Euro EP3

I have been working on a Euro EP3 that has been happily running the USKpro for over a year and am soon to do the same conversion myself to my car.

I have wired up a NOS dry kit as per hondata instructions:
http://www.hondata.com/kpronitrousdiagram.html

But we have an issue that is a little bit strange and need some inside guidance.

The actual output control is fine and functions as expected but the problem is the arming input.
We can only utilise one input as you know and on the US cars E16 is the PSP input. On the Euro cars it is the same sort of sensor but for the EPS (Electric Power Steering load sensor.)

Now when we arm the circuit (with the input inverted) it all works fine.
When we disarm the circuit when the steering wheel is released i.e. under zero load...the NOS arms itself. As soon as you move the wheel it disarms. (Inverting the arm signal gives the opposite effect) We obviously can?t use this as when it arms and if you?re not actually using the NOS you will end up damaging your engine by overfuelling and adjusting ignition so it?s a bit of a non-starter.

Now I know this has been utilised in the UK before and in Europe on other EP3's but I am really struggling to find information to overcome the issue.

The only way around this at the moment will be to physically plug in your laptop and enable NOS when you want to use it...but that?s a bit of a pain.

Any ideas and assistance would be appreciated.

If the n20 arms itself with steering wheel movement, then there still must be a wiring connection from the EPS to the ECU. How did you wire in the arming switch? The best way is to remove the pin from E16 and insert a new pin to your switch.

BTW nos = brand name, no2=smog, n2o = nitrous oxide

Thanks for the prompt reply.
We havent removed the connector in E16 (EPSLD) as the instructions we were following from the RSX forum that seemed to work on that car said they attached the two together and it worked fine.

I have thought about disconnecting it as I tried forcing that input both high and low and running the car and we had no detremental effects. Steering was fine and no faults or warning lights.

Do you know what this input does and if we can infact safely disconnect it?

BTW The kit I have is a pukka Holly NOS kit. And it says it on the box. 8)
I suppose its a bit like we call all vacuum cleaners Hoovers in the UK...but thats only a brand name as well.

You have two inputs into the nitrous arming - the EPS and the arming switch - can you see the problem? Disconnect the EPS input.
