i have a cr-vtec and need to get some 270 cc fuel injectors? my motor is starting to stutter when i'm on the freeway doing about 75. it only happens between 70-75 and if i go up to about 80 it'll stop. i'm approaching 10k on the motor so would that be a factor? so does anyone know where i could get them online or anywhere? and a price? i've seen them range from $300-400. if anyone could help thanks.

I would reccomend RC 310's.
You can contact me at
ricky@silverbeast.com and I can point you in the direction of a RC dealer.
Thanks

On the 270's you will be at 83% duty cycle at about 8800. I dont like running them that close. A lot better in my opinion to run some 310s so you can run the injector at less duty cycle.

As long as you've got some form of EMS that can shorten the duty cycle of the injectors to compensate for their larger size, there is no harm in running larger injectors...you're just giving yourself plenty of room to grow without having to buy the same parts over again.

If you don't want to run hideously rich, yes. The stock ECU is designed to run 240cc's. If you run the 310cc's, the stock ECU won't know it and will retain the same injector duty cycle, dumping more fuel than necessary across the board.

If you want to run Hondata, you'll need to convert to OBD-1. You can run the S100 if you don't think you'll be doing any tuning yourself, you don't plan on datalogging, and you don't want launch control. If you do want to do any of these, you need to get the S200.
If you want to stay OBD-0, you may want to try to find a Hondata Stage 2/3/4 system...Hondata doesn't make them any more, so you'll have to buy it used. There are also other EMS's out there that can control an OBD-0 ECU that aren't Hondata.

so even if i ran the 270s would my car be better than it is now? what are your thoughts? ive been lookin at prices...so the hondata s200 is nice, but too much right now...for my budget. i'm not planning to race my car, but i just wanna know if 270s would be ok or if goin with the 310s and spending over 500 would make my car run at a better quality than just buying 270s to fix it for a while? let me know what you think dax
