P28 and Knock Sensor

I converted my old stage system rom to the new s series rom.
Read the chip in from p28, opened the bin file, converted, burnt new chip, installed back into p28.
I started my car no problem but got a CEL. Hooked up hondalogger and it told me it was a code for knock sensor.
(fyi...obd2 B16 w/ p28 & obd2-obd1 adapter cable)

Question:
I didn't think the p28 looked for a knock sensor?
Why did i have to disable this in romeditor to get rid of the CEL?
Shouldn't it been disabled already when I converted my rom or did i have to redo all the settings?

Thanks

depends what map the .bin file is based on i think. like if you used a p30 based map on a p28, the bin will probably look for a knock sensor and not find it and throw the code. And being a b16 engine there's a good chance the bin is based off a p30. that's my guess.

Yes, you are right. I wasn't even think of that. Trying to make it harder than it is. I found the notes I made when I created the bin file over a year ago!
I kinda forget stuff once in a while! :D

Thanks Stevel!!!!
