Post by ctrep3 »

i was wondering if anyone had any input as to whether a k20a2 with type r cams would be better off with toda valvesprings or crower valve springs or any other for that matter?

The stock valve springs are OK to 9200 rpm, so will work OK with the type r cams.i

Toda valve springs are good to higher rpm, and I've had no problems with mine. Any valve springs with higher opening pressure than Toda have a tendency to wear the top cam caps and should be avoided.

With the stock valve springs after 9200 rpm you will start to get valve float.
