now my tach doesnt work after my swap

my tach doest work after i swapped this 2000 b18c1 into my 93 vx hatch and i cant figure it out. there is one wiring harness plug on the passenger side ofe the engine wiring harness that isnt plugged into anything because it didnt match up with the other end. does this have anything to do with it. i got all the pin outs for the ecu and i cant find one that has anything to do with the tach. please post if you know anything

Blue wire on the distributor wiring harness is the tach wire. When i did my last swap (B16A into a 93 Civic EX) the tach wire was connected differently at the harness. I took the blue wire from the existing wiring harness and soldered it directly to the blue wire on the distributor. Try that and if not try soldering straight from the distributor to the gauge cluster harness under the dash.... Good luck..
