Hondata with Jun chipped eprom in P72?

Post by Gee3 »

I bought a used S200 with a P72. However, I can't tune it for another few months so it has a Jun chip in there for the time being until I can get it tuned for real. This is for a jdm B18C.

Is that going to be okay for me to run with the Hondata box hooked up to it or will I run into problems?

I just don't want to blow anything up!

Thanks!
Gary

No, the Hondata Interface box will not work with Jun chipped ECU.
You will need to remove the Jun chip and program another chip with a Hondata Base Map for the Interface box to work.
