FlashPro Manager Advices

Hi:
I am a newbie. I have a few questions related to FlashPro Manager on a JDM Honda Civic Type R:

q1. Do I have to load a newly tuned calibration file which is already on a laptop with FlashPro Manager into the FlashPro Manager first If I were to flash it to my ECU? In short, do I have to first open FlashPro Manager fist, then open the newly tuned calibration file with FlashPro Manager? Then, I will follow the rest of the procedure...

q2. Assuming I have flashed my ECU with this newly tuned calibration file, If I were to do data logging with this newly tuned calibration file, do I have to open FlashPro Manager fist, then open this newly tuned calibration file with FlashPro Manager?

Then I will click data logging user interface on the FlashPro Manager....

OR

2.1 Can I just press the Data Logging button on the Hondata FlashPro hardware WITHOUT the procedure in q2? I will STOP the data logging by pressing the same button again...(Assuming the new calibration file has been FLASHED to my car's ECU)

Assuming 2.1 is alright, what is the correct procedure to download the data logging file? Open FlashPro Manager, then look for the new data logging file under Data Logging user interface option...Save it to my laptop or USB drive, etc.

q3. For q1 to q2.1 above, Please tell me about my car's ignition key position. I would assume that my engine SHOULD NOT be started but turn my ignition key when most of the dash lights and indicators are on...

Thank you very much.

SK

You must open the calibration in the software to be able to upload it to the ECU/FlashPro.

You do not need to open the calibration to datalog in the software.

The vehicle must be running to make a datalog. If you are retrieving a datalog from the FlashPro, the FlahsPro only needs to be connected via USB to the laptop.
