Kicked out of Datalog!
I recently adjusted my calibration and after uploading it I started to datalog. After what it seems like 10 seconds the datalog suddenly stops and the only way of reestablishing communications is to shut down K-Manager and re-start. Also, sometimes K-Manager fails to recognize that my ECU is connected and/or online when the ignition switch is on. I have V. 1.1.3. Can you help?

Thanks for replying Spunkster. I've tried that and it works, but it still kicks me out of Datalog after a few seconds. I downloaded the 1.1.3 again and reinstalled it. I'll be checking it in a little while. It's never kicked me out before with any of the prior versions so that is why I posted this problem. normally this would not be a big dael but I can't record a run if it keeps shutting off (datalog).
1. Make sure the USB is unplugged, and then uninstall the USB drivers (Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, the uninstall "FTD2XX.SYS FT8U2XX device driver").
2. Install KManager again.
3. Plug in the USB, switch on the ignition, tell Windows where to find the USB drivers. Switch off the ignition, unplug the USB, wait a moment, plug the USB in again.
4. Test with KManager. You can also check the device manager to see if it lists a "Hondata K-Series ECU".
If you still have the same problem, try to borrow another laptop and try that. If there still a problem, call us and arrange for the ECU the be checked out.

I have the exact same problem. I think I will give the above method a try though.

Well, I performed the suggested steps, with 3 different laptops and the same condition persists
. The ecu works well as long as you don't try to monitor/upload. I believe the comm board might be bad.
In order to confim my findings, I took it to SFP and Frank had the same problem I've described. It even corrupted his laptop. He called Hondata and spoke to someone about a check/repair and I have not heard from him since (holidays). Can I arrange shipment/repair directly with you or do I have to deal thru SFP.
