Altering the Crank Pulley Weight

Hello. I am installing a lightweight crank pulley (stock diameter) soon on my stock tuned civic si.
I heard the k20 is internally balanced engine and the crank pulley is not an actual balancer.
Is that information true?
Do you advice against going with lighter crank pulley for a k20 engine?

The car is stock tuned, with kn filter and an induction intake hose.

Your engine might get more rumbles... probably knock sensor would go off a lot more.

I have a smaller crank pulley as well but it's just as heavy. FD2 rrc crank pulley. I do have an FD2 lightweight flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc and just that alone makes my knock count go up whenever i shift which makes me paranoid but i don't think it's a real knock.

Thanks... how long have you had it on? Also, is it the NST pulley set?
