i have a aem 30-4100. do you just wire the correct wires to the s300v3 board in the digital inputs? rx and ground? are there any other settings that need to be selected or changed after selecting the wideband in the drop down menu?

You need to make sure you set the wideband in put correctly for the wideband and input you are using.

For each channel the channel type (typically wideband for single channel inputs) and unit may be selected. With the PLX since it is possible to have multiple channels of the same type (eg 4 channels of lambda, or 4 channels of EGT) an instance number can be set. The instance number is set by the PLX device based on the order in the daisy chain. eg the first unit is 0, the second is 1 etc. Note that this only occurs when multiple channels of the same type are present in the chain - normally the instance will be zero.

You shouldn't need to if there is only one device.

Thanks for the info. Does the digital wideband input for a Aem wideband very accurate? No offset needed for it to read correctly?

The only way to use an aftermarket wideband for closed loop with an s300 is to use the analog inputs on the actual ECU , not the digital or analog inputs on the s300.
