krpo v4 bluetooth connection intermittent drops issue samsung and apple

i'vel always had bluetooth connections issues since day one with kpro. at first i was just using my phone, a samsung. i then connected an ipad. same intermittent issues. either device always connections, but almost always disconnects during a drive. i can back out of hondata and then reopen and this will work a few times, but then stops connecting. i will restart the phone or ipad when it stops connecting, but will not reconnect with kpro. wondering what i can try to resolve this issue? please let me know what other information is needed.

If you remove the lid form the ECU, does it make it any better?

removed the cover and went for a drive. my samsung phone stayed connected for about 13 minutes and then would not reconnect. these messages come up when i try to reconnect.
