Anyone convert their cable to USB or something else, my Dell doesnt have a serial port and just wanted to see if it was posible, otherwise looks like I'm off to CompUSA to get a convertor...

Be sure to buy a Keyspan converter. It's the only one I've ever seen luck with.

I'm going to try to see if I can get a PCI card for my dell that has a serial port on it.

I have found that the BELKIN usb to serial adapter is working with no issues at all.
