Hello, can you help me with this issue?
I have a client who purchased and installed the new Honda boost control kit for an 9th-gen Civic Si.
When I'm tuning it I have problems with the BC Duty % .. it goes to zero and that makes me lose pounds of boost
I attach an image with the fault and a datalog
I have a 7psi spring on the Westgate and I get 11psi but it is unstable because I have the boost control fault.
In addition to this fault, the ECU thinks it's in 1st gear. I set the gear ratio, and it doesn't recognize the speed or gear.

The speed reading is incorrect - I'm going to guess you have non-stock gears with a different number of teeth.
We'll look at the boost control.

For boost control if you want.. You can connect online with my car to get data,
Regarding the gear problem, we generally change the ratio when we turbocharge, but when we enter the ratio data into the Honda program, it seems the algorithm doesn't calculate correctly.
I attach the current radius of the box.

Re: 2014 SI Turbo + Boost Control
The speed is sensed from the 3rd gear countershaft. If the number of teeth change then the speed will be incorrect even if the ratio is corrected.
For the boost control increase the 'TC Max Boost (VSS)'. It is acting as a boost cut rather than limiting the target boost - we are looking to see if we want to change that.

Let's see if I understand correctly. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
If I swap the 3-gear for a non-OEM one, is it not possible to know what gear the car is in? And is it not possible to boost by gear?
2- For the % duty failure at 0%, are you going to make a correction to the software?
thanks for your help

Re: 2014 SI Turbo + Boost Control
1. Correct. If the number of teeth on 3rd gear are changed then the ECU will not read the speed correctly.
2. Yes. We are going to change the 'TC Max Boost (VSS)' from acting like a boost cut to a boost limit.
Can you tell me how many teeth there are on a stock 3rd gear countershaft, and how many are on the after market gear you use?
I'm guessing 49 teeth and perhaps 32 teeth.
