honda civic mb6 b20 power when accelerating
Hello, I have a problem with a Honda Civic VTI MB6 B20. The symptoms are that the car jerks and shoots from the exhaust when engine braking and has no power at all even at WOT with the correct AFR, as if the ignition was delayed, despite the fact that the ignition is set in the Honda and on the ignition device and the ignition compensation is set to 0. I suspect a problem with the map sensor. I noticed that when accelerating at WOT, the signal from the map sensor sometimes shows the value 0.0. Is this normal? I am adding a map and a detail from the trip where you can see it. Best regards

The MAP appears to be reading correctly. Have you checked the mechanical timing to make sure everything lines up with the cam gears at TDC?
Re: honda civic mb6 b20 power when accelerating
hello spunkster i think i solved the problem with my b20 vtec today. the lack of power was probably due to a damaged wire to the sensor ect, i.e. coolant temperature, the symptoms were that the engine worked evenly after starting until it reached the operating temperature. then when it was already warmed up it lost power, jerked and worked unevenly as if the ecu was reversing the ignition, spunkster can you write something more about how this sensor works and do the symptoms of its damaged or damaged wire give the symptoms I wrote? best regards
