Hi. Iv'e been running the Stage 2 250lbsft tune on my 11th gen civic si for the past 50k miles. I have a prl cobra intake and a 'no cat' DP for engine mods. I have always had a 'hard' cut limiter (bounces on rev limiter) with the Stage 2 map.
I have the following selected in mods/calibrations:
-Increased fuel pressure
-Disable rev hang
-Knock disable
-Street traction control
- Disable secondary o2
When I go ahead and tune while adding the light pops and bangs option:
-Enabled
-Sport mode only
-Duration 200ms
Pops only happen with cruise control on, which makes the revs drop slowly as if rev hang is still on (which is weird but I don't mind) this goes away with cc off.
My problem is, with cc on or off, or sport or normal mode. The rev limiter is a 'soft' one. It doesn't bounce but instead it feels like it cuts power and jerks me forward. No more rev limiter bounce. I want it back :) Launch control also doesn't bounce that fast it sort of feels like the factory rev limiter.
Also to mention I thought it was the rev limiter and recover. Which was at 6600-6100, I increased to 6600-6300 and still the same.
