Hi,
I just bought a hondata Flashpro and I wanna learn how to tune my car. I downloaded a basemap from Hondata and I read multiple posts here and youtube video about the basics of tuning. If I understood everything, I gotta do a datalog of running around and maybe a WOT pull, then take a look at knock count and if I run lean or rish with the MAF sensor ? I only got a off-brand CAI (spectre). I heard also that MAF sensor is not the best for that and some people use the MAP sensor. After that, I'm not that sure to understand how to tune the different cam angle, and do I even touch at ignition ? Except if there's a knock, of course. I have a dyno, but it is not installed and I'm afraid that it won't be installed before a while, so that's why I wanna tune it right now.

Yes, you would need to dial in the fuel and ignition tables. I suggest you start with a speed density tune as this platform runs better in speed density when you change the intake. Yes, the angles would need to be dialed in but I suggest you get a better understand of the platform first before you work on more advanced changes.

You stated you have a dyno. What tuning platform do you normally use? You can use some prior knowledge from other cars you have tuned.
