Can anyone help me with this? My 94 accord (f22 sohc vtec) has been reving at idle between 1500rpm - 2000rpm... I was ablt to adjust the placement of the TPS and it helped for a little bit but started all over again... I was told it was a bad TPS so I got a whole TB that has never been adjusted. I put it on an the same thing happens, only now it's between 1500rpm - 2250rpm.
So next I tried to check the codes with the ECU. I did the whole paper clip in the plug deal to short it out and all I got was the Check Engine light to stay on steady. No blinking at all.
I'm stumped now. Please help me if you can.

Does the F22 have a FITV [fast idle thermo valve]?
This is the most typical problem with erratic idle.
Go to www.honda-tech.com and do a search for 'FITV' or 'fast idle thermo valve' [making sure to serach recent AND archived content]. I know I've seen a detailed fix with picutres there.
