Look at my logs please

Post by Rodgers96 »

I just bought a 2013 Si, equipped with a (I think) PRL SRI, and unknown to me, a ... exhaust. No CEL, but the car failed emissions for catalyst and o2 sensor readiness. I swapped in a PLM catted exhaust, and bought a Flash Pro since I couldn't get a dealer flash in the time I needed.

I tried the hondata stock reflash, and of course, it was too lean with 27+ LTFT. I tried the "SRI/cat delete/catback calibration", and the car did NOT like that. Bucking on acceleration, P0101 code, steering dash lights, etc. I'm assuming it has something to do with MAF calibration, but I know literally nothing about tuning, so I have no idea even where to start to adjust that.

Now I've flashed the "PRL intake" calibration, and the car has been running great, no CEL, all but one readiness monitor is good, LTFT are under 3. Would someone be so kind as to look at the two logs I've taken and confirm that this tune is safe and acceptable as a basemap? I'm looking into getting a pro tune, but I desperately need this car to pass emissions ASAP.

Thanks,
Caleb

The car has a catalytic converter and all emissions systems intact. I bought the car WITHOUT a cat and a tune that had the rear o2 sensor disabled.

I bought and installed a catalytic converter, enabled all emissions checks, got all monitors to readiness and LEGALLY passed emissions.

Now that we’re past that, would you be so kind as to look at logs and let me know if this is a good/safe basemap for my car? I have no experience with tuning, so I’m shooting in the dark looking at fuel trims, knock retard, etc and am looking for experienced eyes on it.

I’ll take a look at it when I’m back at my computer.

Thank you! Once I get an RBC intake installed, I’ll probably reach out for a proper etune

The AFM needs to be adjusted as the trims are positive, indicating the car is running lean. You also have several counts of knock. The timing needs to be dialed down.

Thank you for looking over those! I’ll be sending you an email inquiring about tuning
