Is there anyway to add table tracking the wastegate controls in the wastegate position and wastegate flow tables on FK8 DE5 Fl5?
Adjusting these tables to prevent throttle plate closures, under boosting, over boosting on larger turbos is more complicated because there is no references back to the table where the ecu is getting its information from.
It’s only listed as “power” and that has no translation during a run to the actual point on the table.
Essentially you can click on datalog in almost any other chart and it highlights exactly where the ecu is getting settings from inside the table and the wastegate position and wastegate flow tables do not have this ability.
These tables are more sensitive on FL5 and DE5 on larger turbos.

Sorry, the existing datalog channel capacity is more or less full.

Forgive my ignorance in advance please. If the data is full how were the air charge data tables added?
Is there a possible way to refer to the table other than the word “quatio”
Probably a different word but is cut off in my screen on the wastegate position table.
I understand the values being 0-1 being 0-100 percent through the wastegate in the chart itself
The x axis ranges from 5-22. if I had a better representation of what those numbers are correlated to I could make better adjustments.
How do those numbers correlate to “exhaust gas energy or power for turbine” where does the ecu get this information from. Is 5-22 boost pressure reference?
Even if I could get it to show me what row it was,
in either x or y, I could figure it out and make far better adjustments.

I have been able to fix throttle plate closures that occur at higher boost levels with this table. I believe it has a lot of importance to pushing the platform further. It is extremely difficult though.

The axis is the exhaust mass flow adjusted by some other factors so that it essentially is the energy or power in the exhaust for the turbine. Sorry that I can not be more specific.

With the wastegate position table the Y axis is the wastegate position, 0=closed to 1=open. The X axis is the mass flow modified as above. The table values are the factor of exhaust energy that will drive the turbine.

“quatio” is truncated "Equation". I'll change that.
