That is a European ECU so you should not try to use the PRB in it. You should use the PRA to run it correctly.

Let me start from the beginning. I have Japanese
market right hand drive car. EP3 civic Type R.

I put a K20a2 in it with a Kpro installed 37820-PRB-A02

I assume the car originally comes with 37820-PRD-J02 to run a K20a

My question is am I ok using the PRB ecu

Thank you

There should be a sticker on the underside of the hood with an ECU part number. What does that sticker say? We need to know if it originally had a PRA or a PRD ECU.

The only numbers I could find underside of the hood are

87533-PLC-900

The rest was all in Japanese.

A US ECU will only work if the original ECU was PRD. If the original was PRA then it will not work correctly.

Thank you so much for your help. So a base map PRB will work?
