Hello guys , I have my b16 swap Ek (Using a conversion harness obd2b to obd1) (no tacho) but rpm signal on the ecu.
Tuned the low map all is well , car is working as it should its strong and smooth.
Same with the vtec smooth out the map (ignition and fuel) and at certain rpms it becomes very rich and bogs down like a limiter and then picks back up.
Using AEM x series on open loop though.
Will test tomorrow the AEM to see if it reads correctly, but I think it does I will make sure the ground is fine.
Here is my datalog
If you look at the graph , at close 1:21
The duty remains the same (66% -> 65%)
AF (from 14.13 -> 12.69)
MAP (remains close at 10-20mbar diff)
RPM (6793 -> 6744)
Also we have some issues with the AEM (Lambda) but I will update on that , tomorrow once I make sure that everything is good grounding wise.
I am not sure why the rpm isn't smooth. it goes up and down and the AF change , cause you can feel the car bog down like hitting the limiter but its not , its too much fuel.
Any input would be great. The map is very smooth and it was done on purpose in order to see if it will do it again.
Don't pay attention to the mixtures I know they are too lean should be at 12.8 constant , we were just doing some tests. the mixtures are already fixed. but even when they are 12.8 it still does it.
Is this table issue or something else?

Re: S300 , problems on vtec.
Post the calibration the datalog was made with.
Re: S300 , problems on vtec.
Sorry about that , here you go
Thanks!

Re: S300 , problems on vtec.
Just a small update , this is the calibration that was with the datalog. but it happens with other calibrations which the table is smooth , can provide those as well but not sure about the datalog (same behavior though)
