K Swap A24A4/Which ECU with KPro?

Hello. I am new to the forum. I am currently collecting parts to do a K Swap into my 07 R56 Mini Cooper. I am rebuilding a K24A4 motor with plans to run VTEC Killer cams. With that, I have an AWD transmission from a 06 CRV. My question is, which ECU do I need to make this work with a KPro module. Or do I need a honda ECU or can I just run a KPro? Not sure, how this works as I am learning. Thanks for any help!
