P101 after installing BOV

Made sure everything is secured, MAF sensors seem to be making contact on all pins.

My assumption is that its because I'm venting to atmosphere so it's just not getting all the air it's expecting but I'd like to see (and I'm hoping) if there's any other theories.

I saw a post of someone saying they installed BOV and vented to atmosphere without problems but that's pretty much the only thing I can think of.

Other mods:
PRL Stage 1 intake
3" exhaust (Milltek)
Hondata 93 Tune

If the BOV vents to atmosphere then the air has been metered by the air flow meter but does not make it into the engine. We do not recommend their use. Normally I believe a different DTC is generated, but if you start to dig into the fuel trims you will find some large fuel trims upon throttle lift off and gear shift.

Usually I’d completely agree with this but I think that the amount of air missing is too small to put the car into limp mode. It functions as normal but stutters around peak boost and then the dash lights up a few seconds later.

It’d make sense if it ran lean in between shifts because the amount of air let out off throttle is so much larger but the issue I’m seeing is so much larger than that.

If you disagree please absolutely tell me, I’m very okay with being wrong

After going over the install again I found that the reducer boot going from the throttle body to the charge pipe wasn’t fully secured causing a boost leak.
