Hondata p72 base map hesitation

Post by turbocivic4 »

I burned a p72 map on a p28 ecu and ran it in my 94 gsr, but when at idle and I tap on the gas I can feel it hesitate for just a second. How come the base map is doing this?

Chances are there is a difference in setups between the car we used to generate the base map and you car. You can try altering the throttle tip in fuel adjustment to see if that fixes the flat spot, but really it would be a good idea to dyno tune the vehicle.

hmm you only can change the throttle tip to 0 , if I enter 2 it will go to 0 when I come back to the screen

Well my car is tuned, my injector muliplier is on 0.7 and so is the throttle tip at 0.7, my car still hesitates especially when cold and you press the gas it hesitates, rpms drop a good 300 rpm.
Do I raise the throttle tip to say 0.8 and when I enter this number on real time emulate does it go right in???
