quick question, will there ever be an easy way to display gauges or add the Hondata App to android auto/ apple car play to display everything in the radio. would a great addition to the longevity and useablity of your 10$ app

This is probably not going to be an option.

why would that be the case? is it just outdated and will never be updated? or is it just lazyness to focus on more type R stuff since its what they specialize in

Trying to get an app to be compatible with those is next to impossible and that is why there are very few apps compatible with them.

Apple at least specifically does not allow vehicle data-loggers on carplay.

Nope, again, Apple specifically does not allow car based datalogging so the CarPlay support uses a very limited notification method that Apple allows.

I pulled up the app on my car play and added the sensors from my settings but the values dont show only the sensor names is there something that needs to be changed to show the values on the CarPlay
