B11 VSS out question

KPRO 4 SN# 67594 in a PPA ecu installed by EBTEC. 5 speed Accord trans with a CSS installed in an EM2 Civic. I've modified the harness so that CSS sensor pins are right, set the speed sensor option to "Courntershaft driven speed sensor" and I can see in the logs that my VSS input displays vehicle speed. I've snipped the blu/wht wire to the speedo and plugged it into B11 in the ECU but the speedo does not work. I saw in the VTEC Academy video "Hondata Speedo Fix Pt2.." that the B11 speedo out function only works if Hondata installed the KPro4 themselves. I tried hooking up the circuit anyway in case something has changed in the 3 years since that video was published. Is this still true? If so, can I send my ECU to Hondata to get my B11 VSS out circuit functioning?

Unfortunately, it does not have the modifications, and we do not offer this service. I would recommend that you get a speed converter that can be wired to the Cluster and ECU.
