car won't start, s200 flashing

Post by 97CTR »

Alright here is my problem. I had the s200 with 0bd2 jumper andp28 installed in my car and it was running good and working fine. The setup was still all over the place so I decided to clean it up and do a finish install on it. I put it all back together and now my car won't start. The s200 is flashing, could a bad wire from the blue box to the ecu cause the car to not start? It may have gotten strained/pinched.

I have checked all of my fuses, the only thing I did was mess with the ecu and s200 now it won't start, any ideas?

A flashing light is usually either the ROM or the cable. If it is the ROM you'll rev limit to 3200 rpm, the cable will rev limit to 4000 rpm. You can check the cable with a multimeter.

It sounds like you have shorted something out and damaged whatever it is you said has been burned.

and I'm getting a solid check engine code with the jumper wire in...... sounds like it may be time for a new ecu?
