Torque limits incorrect?

I use the Flashpro CARB 250 tune for my 2022 Civic Si.
I believe the tune is supposed to limit the maximum torque to 250 foot pounds (
https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/h ... nes.50320/).
However, looking at the torque limit tables in the calibration, I see that the highest torque limit is only 300 Newton Meters, which is the equivalent of around 221 foot pounds. How does this make sense?

Honda's ECU target torque is not perfect. We found 300 Nm gave the right output.

@Hondata, thank you for your response.
If I wanted to make a 260 tune would I just bump all the torque limit numbers by 15? It looks like the 240 tune is exactly 15 Nm below the 250 tune.
Would that be a safe assumption? Are there any other difference between the 240 and 250 tunes?

To accurately measure the torque, you would need to put it on the dyno.

I don't need it to be 100% accurate, just trying to get some more power out of it. I don't have access to a dyno.
Are there any differences between the 240 and 250 tune other than the torque limit tables? Is there anything I else I would need to adjust?

Honda torque modeling in their turbo keihin ecus is half-baked
You need to really measure it on dyno to know how much torque it's limiting if you want to tune based on torque limiter.
Or you can just max out torque limiter (and other parameters if you are doing manual reflash) and rely on pressure ratio limiter to control boost.
Ecu takes a number of things into account of torque calculation. I personally always maximize the limiter to highest number possible and control my own boost instead. Only add knock limit from 5k to keep lspi low so knock control value will stay low. Also do super rich actual lambda to keep knock control low, so you can have stable timing. And use MAP for WOT determination to get instant enrichment in WOT to control micro detonations when giving it gas.
Mind and respect knock control, give it first priority even tho you have to focus on other things.
