VSS issues on kpro

Using a VSS sensor on rear driveshaft ABS ring (50 tooth).
I wired the sensor to the VSS plug that was on the rear Of transmission. So when testing it out cluster is way to high and so is kpro mphs. I calculated the pulses per mile and entered 200336 per mile on the alternate speed input tab and uploaded it to car. Speedometer still doing same thing but kpro isn't registering any speed and will trow a VSS error code and get stuck showing 3mph untill I reset it.
