Importing Modifications, Using Plugins

I've created a few .FPMOD files for some of the key changes I like to make,
e.g.
Raised idle to reduce RMM Vibration
Adjusted speedometer for 245/40/18 Tyres
Custom AFM Tuning
I may be missing something, but I can't seem to find the "Import" button to get these onto the mod list?
Whilst on that topic, I notice there's a plugin - AFMTune - bundled with the app; I was considering making something akin to this, but given it is already there, is there any info on utilizing it? Is it only usable in live tuning - Can't seem to see an option to "deploy" it against a log?
